As part of the AMB in Stuttgart, I signed the contracts for SawExpo 2027. On May 11 and 12, 2027, the industry meeting for cutting and machining technology will take place in the exhibition halls of Messe Stuttgart.
The changed format aligns with smaller budgets and the modern idea of attracting more visitors over two trade fair days. For tool manufacturers, it's certainly a blessing and has long been requested. For machine manufacturers, it's more challenging to manage. Nevertheless, I received a lot of positive feedback from machine manufacturers. On the very first day, I got three confirmations for the fairall for the largest stand size of 24 m and from machine exhibitors.
The stands have standard sizes but allow for machines to be displayed. Everything that can be set up in one day and fits on the stand is allowed. Stands can also be combined, which at least provides some flexibility.
